Windows 7One of the biggest down sides to Microsoft Windows is the OUTRAGEOUS pricing structure that Microsoft applies to this platform. You would think that the company would want to make it more affordable in order to drive more sales. Apparently not. FULL retail versions start at $120 for Home Premium and $200 for Professional. UPGRADE versions start at $90 for Home Premium and $130 for Professional.

In today’s economy, with many people struggling to save money, not many people can afford or want to invest in such a steeply priced operating system, which is just a slightly “spiffy” knockoff or upgrade of Windows Vista.

I have come across a cheaper alternative for purchasing Windows 7 Home Premium or Professional. The only negative is that not everyone qualifies for this low price of $30. Microsoft runs a student discount program called “The Ultimate Steal”. In order to receive the discount, you must have a working email at an educational institution, either a college or high school *****@****.edu address.

Visit the student discount front page here www.win741.com and click on the “BUY” square and choose “Buy Now”. Once you input your school email address, Microsoft sends you a confirmation email with a link to the ordering page. From there, simply complete the order form, choosing which method of delivery you would rather for your copy of Windows 7. The download version is $30. The install disc version is $13 extra, for the disk and S & H. If you decide to go with the download purchase, be aware that each file is very large, in excess of 3GB. The download page gives you two options of file type, either an .exe executable file or an .iso image. You can choose to download one of the two or both. One tip of advice I’ll give you is to make backup copies of these files because if anything happens to the file, you will not be able to re-download the file after 30 days of purchase. However, you can pay an extra $6 to be able to re-download the files at any time after 30 days of purchase.

An old M&M marketing slogan said, “The Chocolate Melts in your mouth, not in your hand!” Well, I have come across a “cookie” that will do both if you don’t eat it fast enough. This “cookie” is a TimTam “biscuit”, an Australian “cookie”!

Let’s take a look at what they call the TimTam Slam, a.k.a. Australian Orgasm:

  • Here is the TimTam package and a HOT beverage, in this case, coffee.
  • Open the package and grab one of the biscuits.
  • Take a smallllll bite off of one of the corners of the TimTam. Be sure to not bite too much off or the Slan will be difficult to do.
  • Bite off the corner opposite from the other bitten corner.
  • Now your TimTam is prepared for the Slam!
  • Now, take the biscuit, dip one of the bitten corners into the hot beverage, then use the other bitten corner to sip the drink into the biscuit (basically using the biscuit as a straw). Once The hot beverage makes it’s way through the biscuit and reaches your mouth, quickly put the entire biscuit in your mouth and, mmmmhhmmm, ENJOY as the biscuit completely dissolves and melts in your mouth. If you’re not quick, the biscuit will melt in your hand!
